It's safe to say that LEGOs are having a moment. With The LEGO Movie, LEGO video games, stores, theme parks, it's obvious that people are obsessed with those little bricks. And while accidentally swallowing a LEGO is a rite of passage for many kids, they don't usually make for a quality foodstuff.
We are, however, very in favor using LEGOs to create food art. So we found the best dishes the web had to offer, many of which are courtesy of PleyWorld, a kind of Netflix for LEGOs. Which one is your favorite?
Pizza: Those olives look good enough to pick right off the pie.
Doughnut: The sprinkles are a convincing touch.
Burger & Fries: Ketchup not included.
Sushi: We're glad they didn't forget the wasabi.
Cherry Pie: Looks good enough to make a grown man cry.
Taco: The guacamole's not extra.
Eggs & Toast: We wouldn't want to start the day any other way.
Macaroni & Cheese: The fake-cheese color of those brick noodles is really on point.
Croissants: Just how the French intended.
Sandwich: Call it a hoagie, call it a sub—we'll call it genius.
Cupcakes: Almost cute enough to eat.
Strawberry Cake: The seasonal cake of our dreams.
